Stung by the splendor of a crazy thought

Engaged :)

Past two weeks have been crazy. I got engaged and I am still living in that dream world ever since. All the last minute rushing made me so tired and I am so not interested in working these days. I feel this is so weird since I never imagined myself in that position. Now you know why I am missing completely from the blogging world. Give me sometime and I will be back soon :)

I have always been a pretty practical person, who has always put my career in front of everything. I always wanted to marry late and had been proclaiming that everywhere. I always thought marriage would be some kind of hindrance, restriction etc. But now my perspective has changed, since I am in love :D And I like the fact that my partner is pretty understanding and down-to-earth too. I somehow seem to be losing interest in career and education now that my marriage got fixed. I think it is just a phase and after couple of years I will again become normal.

And talking for hours together on phone :) I always wondered what people spoke on phone for so long. Now I understand that. Even though there is nothing to talk, either of us don’t feel like hanging up the phone.

A new phase of life has begun and I am really excited about it. Waiting for my engagement snaps to arrive.

    I felt like I was reading my own life story. :) You took me back in time by a year when I got engaged. It’s a lovely phase…enjoy it while you can :)

    Reality will set in sooner or later….you may come crash landing back to earth. Be prepared for that though. But that’s not too bad either, you will learn to take the ups with the downs :)
